Nearpod App Reviews

I use it at least once a week with my classes. The app is user friendly and I like sharing students work with the class, as do my students. Unlike some other apps of a similar nature, this app has not frozen on me or my students.

Cannot make one

While I can purchase and use those lessons easily, trying to create and edit my own slideshows is VERY frustrating. I dont consider myself to be inept when it comes to technology but this app is very hard to use if you want to edit your own slideshows and it seems like it would take hours to create any kind of quality presentation.

This is a nice update with a lot of new features. I like the true false and the Draw-it questions, but I would like to have on the on-the-fly multiple-choice questions in the next update.

It is very helpful when l in the school in Hawaii. Now I want to introduce my school. My school is Punahou School, its most bigger school in the United States!

Ive enjoyed this app already but I know I need to learn more! Cant wait. Hope it doesnt get too costly.

This is my new favorite tool for teaching.

Pros: engaging Interactive Cons: not enough free content. We are teachers, not politicians. Most teachers salaries fall within the realms of poverty level. Paying $2.99 per lesson when you teach 6 lessons a day is unrealistic. - minimal options for creating presentations. Why cant I change the background to a color that isnt black, or adjust font size? These are simple edits that should be available! -limited amount of mega bites in creating presentations with the free version. - limited amount of storage for presentations in the library with the free version This is created for teachers, yet isnt super teacher-friendly with the cost of lessons and the limitations in the free version. $120/year isnt extra money I have to upgrade, do you know how much money teachers already spend on their classrooms each year?

Near pod gives me feedback about my students learning faster than you can blink your eyes! You can download free lessons or purchase lessons to use with your students. I prefer to create my own lessons that I design for precise assessments tailored to cover the topics I am teaching. As soon as students choose or type their answer I see it! I know who hasnt responded yet, and I know who needs help to see why their thinking/answers are wrong RIGHT NOW! I LOVE USING NEARPOD!

I have only been able to publish one presentation. I can creat others but none of them will publish. Ive even deleted the one I did publish to see if that would work but it doesnt. Not I cant publish anything. Big disappointment.
